Syd Mead Spaceship Model

I made this model based on a concept piece from Syd Mead. I changed the lettering on the tail to double as a signature. It was a lot of fun problem-solving this to turn a 2D side-view concept into a 3D object.

This is the finished model, all made with polystyrene plastic sheets, painted with Posca Markers.

Flat orange basecoat plus some metallic accents on the round part there.
